Why We Love 2020 Already: Hileman Group’s Leadership Speaks

By: Hileman Group  | 12/30/2019

As we put a bow on 2019, one thing’s for certain: it was a year we’ll want to remember. Our agency family grew 30 percent, developed new client relationships and even deepened others. There’s many things we’re proud of as we look back on a year of growth and learning. And we want to cap off the year by having our leadership team share what they prized most from 2019 — and what we’re most excited about in our future.

What We Loved About 2019

“I’m most proud of the growth of our team — not only the addition of many new talented individuals but also the professional development of the people who helped get us here. Our office expansion project to house our growing creative team — and the collaborative space we’ve added along the way — are exciting signs of growth. Having the opportunity to serve such great customers is truly special.”

—Tom Hileman, CEO

“Looking back at 2019, I’m very proud of the relationships we have with our clients. We have great clients, and I feel that we’ve been able to create strong partnerships with them. They come to us with challenges they’re having in their business and trust us to come back with a comprehensive solution and execute on it.”

—Annie Timby, VP of Customer Success

“I was excited to see our teams continue to grow in their specializations and certifications in 2019. This includes earning individual certifications in Salesforce, Marketo and Google. Additionally, we formed company-level partnerships that were formally established with Salesforce, Adobe and Drift. This elevation has helped us continue to drive great partnerships with our clients, where we are truly an extension of their organizations.”

—Kyle Chandler, VP of Marketing Services

“In reflection of 2019, I am delighted with my team’s enthusiasm and their efforts to extend our range of services, while simultaneously increasing the depth of industry certifications. Throughout the past year, we have made evolutional changes to our service offerings, embraced industry-driven architectural advances within our CMS and began the inclusion of voice search.”

—Steven Snider, VP of Technology

“I’m really proud of how far we’ve come as an organization in supporting ideation and design thinking as a whole. In 2019, we also elevated our video capabilities. We traveled to one of our clients, where we directed a video shoot. The output was very well received and integral to the client’s marketing campaign. When another client came to town for a visit, we put together some fun concepts and signage videos to share our ideas for a new campaign. These efforts helped us land a separate video project that we’re working on right now.”

—Craig Minch, Creative Director

“I’m really proud of the evolution of the Healthcare Flywheel. I think it’s a great mnemonic for how we think of healthcare communications, but it also resonates really well with our clients. It’s a win-win. Clients are also using this model to explain how to better communicate with current and prospective patients during their journeys.”

—Brett Colasanti, Managing Partner

Looking Forward to 2020

“What I’m most excited about is the team that we’ve built over the past year. It’s a collaborative group of smart people who really enjoy working with each other and our clients. I look forward to building on that collaboration through our new initiative, Hileman Games. Go Purple!”

—Annie Timby, VP of Customer Success

“We’re shifting the mindset of how we position ourselves as an agency. The new messaging and approach to how we organize our services are simpler and more comprehensive of all disciplines. This initiative will help fuel our website redesign efforts in the new year. I’m super excited to work with everyone on that project!”

—Craig Minch, Creative Director

“I am absolutely thrilled with the evolution of our brand and new go-to-market messaging, which is set to launch in 2020. This new full-service approach will allow Hileman Group to continue to grow as an organization and at the pace we want, as well as allow us to provide more holistic solutions for our clients.”

—Kyle Chandler, VP of Marketing Services

“In 2020, I’m excited to see us get more involved in CRM and enhanced reporting. I think CRM is a logical next step for us on the digital marketing side, and enhanced reporting will help us drive more informed strategies for our clients.”

—Brett Colasanti, Managing Partner

“I’m most excited about the continuing growth and development of marketing technology. I can’t wait to see how AI, machine learning, predictive analytics and voice search grow and evolve. I’m also excited to see how marketers adapt to Google’s changing organic search approach and what that will mean to the future of content marketing.”

—Tom Hileman, CEO

“The passion, drive and excitement that the Technology Team demonstrates have me excited to start the new year.”

—Steven Snider, VP of Technology
